Operations Manager and Account Manager
Michele is the glue that makes Chile Media run and operate daily. From her role as Operations Manager to Account Manager, she is responsible for overseeing the behind the scenes inner workings of Chile Media. She has a strong work ethic and business acumen that she acquired while working for her father, Jesse Castro, who was a local San Antonio produce vendor. He sold to local restaurants such as, La Margarita, Mi Tierra, La Fonda off of Main, and the Malt House, to name a few. She worked alongside her father as a young girl until he passed in 2002. Mr. Castro played a major role in how she treats each of her customers. She still has the old school…“The customer is always right.” approach, that was influenced by him.
Michele has a BA in Communications from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dedicated and committed to the Chile Media brand and to their customers, she believes in not over promising but exceeding customer expectations with great customer service and quality products. She will never try to sell something she does not truly believe will be of value to Chile Media customers. Customers appreciate Michele’s honest approach and delivery. Her goal is to create a long-lasting business relationship with each customer in hopes that Chile Media will become their one stop shop for all advertising and marketing needs. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty too, as you will see her in the office at times working on production to meet a customer’s deadline. No job is too big or too small for her. Chile Media is her second home and you will often see her children alongside her, working with her as she worked with her own father.
